Backgammon Online was the first internet-capable backgammon app in the App Store and Mac App Store, offering the opportunity to play against real people anytime, anywhere.

You have the option to select among several servers:

 <li>The dynamic First Internet Backgammon Server (FIBS, visit fibs.com) or the similar TigerGammon (visit ti-ga.com)</li>
 <li>Game Center</li>

 <li>On FIBS, you can challenge very sophisticated bots with varying playing strengths, providing a formidable opponent for seasoned Backgammon players</li>
 <li>Registering a new FIBS account only requires selecting a suitable username, without the need for website visits or personal information</li>
 <li>Automatic forced moves and bear-off</li>
 <li>Integrated FIBS Chat and Game Center Text and Voice Chat</li>
 <li>All interrupted matches are automatically saved</li>
 <li>Player ratings are determined based on match results and other factors, aiding in finding opponents of similar skill level. The matching algorithm is consistent across both FIBS and Game Center accounts for easy comparison.</li>
 <li>Completed matches can be stored in MAT file format and later transferred to your desktop computer using iTunes for analysis with professional backgammon software</li>
 <li>Play naturally by tapping, dragging, or multi-dragging your tiles back and forth; experiencing backgammon on a device has never been so intuitive</li>
 <li>Offline play option available (use as a Backgammon Board)</li>
